EBTC trains 3 out of 4 weekends starting Saturday April 3, 2021 through early October. EBTC Athletic Director and Head Coach of Elite Triathlon Performance America (ETPA) leads approximately one out of four training sessions while Club members are invited to volunteer to lead group training the remaining weekends - we believe in building community through leadership and knowledge sharing. A typical weekend of training will include a bike ride (or MT if weather is inclement), run and open water swim.
Roll Time
Roll time for MOST training sessions is 8am. This means you need to be ready to go at this time. In alignment with our Guiding Principle #2 (you can read the rest here) - we respect all people’s time. Please be on time and ready with everything you need for your session - see below.
Guiding Principle #2 - Accountability & Respect for Time•
Respect people’s investment of time• Recognize each of us have commitments and responsibilities outside of the club• Arrive on time, start on time• Honor your commitments, don’t let others down
Sign Up by 6pm the night before
We require a minimum of 3 athletes for any group training session. This is purely for USAT insurance requirements. We ask you to sign up by 6 pm the night prior. If we do not have 3 people signed up by 6pm the night prior the session will be cancelled. This ensures we are prepared for the numbers attending (or not) plus these registrations become an historical record of training attendance for future planning.
